Modern Contemporary Villa

If you’re looking to bring together clean lines, smooth textures, and modern details for a sophisticated, calm environment, then contemporary interior design is your solution. Senior Interior Designer, Betsy Isackson, displayed a perfect example of this design and feel in one of her latest projects, a Modern Contemporary Villa located in Tequesta, Florida. Isackson worked closely with a dream team, which included Decorators Unlimited Design Assistant, Kristen Bruce, Village Architects, and Affinity Construction in order to bring this spectacular residence to life.

As you stroll up the beautiful driveway, which combines concrete tabby and artificial grass, you will stumble upon the front exterior of the residence. The front entrance displays a magnificent full height double entry door, a perfect contemporary touch to this design. Upon entering, one is greeted with a warm and timeless feeling. A great, bold feature to this residence is the fireplace found after entering the foyer. This fireplace is double-sided and extends two stories high. The fireplace, made of large porcelain tile, portrays a black marble appearance. This appearance added a black accent into the interior of the residence, which carried into the kitchen. The kitchen flaunted masculine details throughout its design. The client loves to cook; therefore, it was important to design around their wants and needs. The end result included great counterspace, a large galley sink, and a big and beautiful wine area which fell between the column fridge and freezer.

Continuing through this 7,847 sq. ft. residence, you will find 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a theater room, man cave, exercise room, and stunning cantilever stairs. In addition to the interior features, the residence presents an incredible outdoor space. Due to the property’s specific location, the residence featured a three-point view of the Loxahatchee River. The outdoor living area also included a putting green, pool, and fireplace.

When asked her opinion on the overall project, Senior Interior Designer, Betsy Isackson stated, “It definitely was a team effort in developing and designing this house. The collaboration between the designer, architect, and builder was incredible, making bringing this project to fruition such a flawless act.” As for the details of the house, Isackson claims the overall warm and timeless feel of the residence, along with the open concept design of the living room, dining room and kitchen areas to be her favorite part of this project.
